Mr. Shane Hagan
Mr. Shane Hagan joined Lippo-Mapletree Indonesia retail Trust on 1 June 2009 as the Chief Financial Officer. From 2003 to late 2007, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Ascendas-MGM Funds Management Ltd where he was responsible for the full spectrum of financial functions, including the financial management accounting, reporting, budgeting, and treasury and funding matters of SGX Listed Ascendas – REIT.
From 1995 to 2003, Mr. Hagan was a Financial Controller of Shortland Properties Limited (from 1999 – Capital Properties NZ Ltd) based in Wellington, New Zealand. In 1999 he was closely involved in the take-over of Shortland Properties Limited by Capital Properties NZ Ltd, resulting in his appointment as the Financial Controller of Capital Properties NZ Ltd. He resigned this position in 2003 to move to Singapore.
From June 1989 to 1994, Mr. Hagan held various positions with Fletcher Challenge Petroleum Asia (formerly known as Petrocorp Exploration Limited) including the positions of Business Analyst and Finance Manager where he was based in various countries in Asia to oversee all finance and accounting functions.
Mr. Hagan is a certified chartered accountant and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand since 1991. He graduated in 1988 from Victoria University, New Zealand, with Bachelor of Commerce and Administration majoring in Accounting & Finance and holds a Diploma from the New Zealand Stock Exchange.
Mr Andreas Kartawinata is the Asset Manager of the Manager. Prior to joining PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk in February 2007, Mr Andreas Kartawinata was the Director of Leasing/Marketing and Operations with PT Metropolitan Kentjana Tbk where he was responsible for managing properties such as Pondok Indah Mall, Puri Indah Mall, Wisma Pondok Indah Office Tower, Apartment Golf Pondok Indah (service apartment), Pondok Indah Real Estate, Puri Indah Real Estate, and Bumi Shangrila Batam Real Estate. Under Mr Kartawinata’s management, Pondok Indah Mall was awarded the Prix d’Excellence (Retail Category) in 2006 by FIABCI, an international real estate federation. Mr Kartawinata was with PT Metropolitan Kentjana Tbk from June 1995.
From June 1987 to May 1995, Mr Kartawinata held various positions with the Ometraco Group, including the position of a Leasing/Marketing manager with PT Schneider Ometraco, a joint venture between the Schneider Group (France) and the Ometraco Group. From August 1985 to June 1987, Mr Kartawinata was a Leasing/Marketing manager with PT Inti Datamas Sukses.
Mr Kartawinata has over twenty years of experience in all phases of leasing, management, marketing and sales, including building a team of property professionals, market research, market planning, product management, advertising, promotion, sales and property management. Mr Kartawinata has been appointed as the President of the Association of Shopping Centres of Jakarta— Indonesia for two consecutive periods, namely 2003-2007 and 2007-2010. Mr Kartawinata has participated in international events such as sitting as a panelist on the Council of Asian ShoppingCentre Seminar in Malaysia (2005) and Indonesia (2006). Mr Kartawinata is also a part-time lecturer
for ‘retail business’ at Tarumanegara University Jakarta, Petra University Surabaya and Bina Retail Indonesia.
Mr Kartawinata graduated from Institute Technology of Bandung with a major in Electro-technique Engineering.
Ms Rita Yovita is the Asset Manager of the Manager. She has more than 10 years of experience in the real estate industry in the extent of property management and maintenance; marketing and lease management; property development and special project management; and asset enhancement programs, negotiations and acquisitions.
Prior to joining the Manager, she was the General Manager of Lippo Karawaci-Asset Enhancement Division where she was responsible in the asset enhancement initiatives, leasing strategy, tenant mix formulation to maximize the owner’s yields and to increase the benefits of the tenants, customers and local community.
From 2000 to 2004, Ms Rita Yovita was the Special Project Specialist of Lippo Bank-Asset Management Group where she worked collaboratively with the Asset Management Group to achieve the Group mission in improving and/or maintaining the image and reputation of 3 respective projects. She also served as an Estate manager earlier in her career for Lippo Karawaci where she was in charge of all aspects of estate management for 4 residential estates.
Ms Rita Yovita holds an International Council of Shopping Centers Certificate from University of Shopping Centers and attended the Indonesia Shopping Centers Seminar & Congress at the Association of Indonesia Shopping Centers.
Mr. Alan Wong Peng How joined Lippo-Mapletree Indonesia Retail Trust on 1 June 2009 as the Investment Manager. He has over 12 years experience in business development with 8 years in the real estate sector. From April 2007 to Feb 2009, Mr. Wong held various positions as an Acquisitions Manager and Investment Manager with MacarthurCook Industrial REIT and Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd respectively. At MacarthurCook, Mr. Wong successfully completed several property acquisitions in Singapore worth S$42 million within 6 months. While at MacarthurCook, he managed 10 industrial properties in relation to the day-to-day operations. At Mapletree, Mr. Wong worked on several development projects in India, Philippines and China. Prior to 2007, Mr. Wong was with a local government linked company and handled business development duties for an industrial park / township developer. As such, he has gained extensive experience in the developing economies within Asia.
Recently in March 2009, Mr. Wong has completed a property management certificate course at the Real Estate & Construction Centre (RECC) in Singapore. This course has enhanced his appraisal skills in evaluating property acquisitions. Mr. Wong also graduated from Texas A & M University with a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration in 1994.
